For anyone who hasnt heard of Kitsune Noir... Get outta the closet. Its basically a blog on everything cool in art and design. It's run by a guy named Bobby Solomon, who i must say has quite a sense of style and whats cool in the world of art and graphics design. not to mention he has put together some nice mixtapes.

Tinker Hatfield x Nike SB. Damn, as if Tinker didn't bring it the first time with the Fuji P-Rod, he's back with a brand new edition! (check the vanilla ice yo)

From the word on the street and the looks of the shoe, Tinker Hatfield took elements from both the Air Jordan 12s & 15s for this custom Nike SB P-Rod mash-up.

"The side of the shoe features a black woven material similar to that of the Jordan 15, but the Jordan 12 is represented in many ways on the sneaker. First, the sole and toe cap were colored in the same University Blue. The toe cap leather is textured just like that on the Jordan 12. This same leather also makes a hit on the black swoosh. On the back panel of the shoe you can see the star of the “rising sun” pattern that made its way to the Jordan 12. Not letting too many things get past us, Tinker added metal lace loops for the top two lace holes shaped just like, you guessed it, the Jordan 12."

JUMPER is coming...

JUMPER is out today. New from Hayden Christenson and director Doug Liman. Looks to be a great movie, it sure caught my eye when i first saw the previews months ago.

Plot: A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.

With such other accting roles being filled by Samuel L. Jackson and Diane Lane, this movie should be nothing short of amazing. Guess we will have to wait and see. Might have to make a trip to the movies tonight for this one.

Kanye West @ the Grammy's

Kanye West was at the Grammy's this past weekend. Doing big things. After the loss of his mother about a month ago I can't even imagine what he has been going through. My sympathies still go out to him and his family, but damn his performance was awesome, and when he performed "Hey Mama", just amazing.

Custom LRG x Suzuki '08 'Busa

Jonas, the LRG 'fashionisto,' drops a dummy collabo with Sportsbike manufacturer Suzuki. The two giants came together to develop one of the nastiest lookin' 'busas around... and that's an accomplishment. Today, erybody that thinks they're a beast has a candy 'busa with the chrome and the extended swingarm and the boots wit the furs. Dig up, The Hundreds crew just dropped their spring '08 line and as usual, they came with some dope fannels, choice demin, some lightweight hoodies & windbreakers and some extra accessories like snapback hats, posters, etc. They keep it simple and cool, like they pretty much always have. The guys over at The Hundreds have always summed up their style as classic cali... a feel taken right out of their past, growin' up rockin' the O.G. giants Stussy & Freshjive or the then hot, now not, Ocean Pacific (don't act like you didn't get down with O.P. son!). Smooth, simple lines with color to pop, that's HUGE.

Two Beasts For The Big Screen

Aight so here’s the scoop on two new films that dropped over the last two weeks… Cloverfield and Rambo. I’ma start off saying that both of these films delivered the duffle.

Let’s start chronomologically and begin with Cloverfield, which hit your faces on the 18th of January. Cloverfield is a movie about a gigantic monster attacking New York City. The movie is shot using shaky camerawork given that the film is supposed to have been recorded on a personal video camera by one of the movie’s characters, HUD. The premise is that as friends gather at a going-away party for the movie’s main character, the video camera is used for recording farewells from friends and acquaintances. Suddenly, in the middle of the party, there’s a large rumble and the building begins to shake. The party quickly assumes an earthquake to be the cause and everyone runs to the roof to get a better view of the aftermath. Out of nowhere, off in the distance, is a huge explosion which sends large chunks of building raining down on them. As they flee back into the building and out onto the street below, the head of the Statue of Liberty comes flying their direction from blocks away. The camera catches a glimpse of something in the distance, moving between the skyscrapers… and it’s alive.

From there, the movie follows the group of friends as they attempt to escape the city. Needless to say, not everyone makes it. The movie has a pretty frantic pace and is especially intense due to the camera style. Some moviegoers complained of nausea because of the shakiness. Either way, the movie is definitely a thrill ride and as long as you can get your head around an alien monster five times the size of Godzilla, then you won’t be disappointed. Go check it out… now.

As for Rambo… Sly finally got serious. This Rambo movie starts off with John boy in Vietnam, having never left since the last time we saw him. He works for some lame snake-charming tourist spot. As the movie begins to get underway, a group of American missionaries find John with the intentions of requisitioning his services. After learning that the crew wants him to escort them into the warzone that is Burma, he rejects their offer. However, later that evening, John speaks with the only female in the group and her words of faith convince John to accept the mission. So the next morning they head off and, albeit some conflict along the way, he delivers them safely to Burma. Ten days later, the group hasn’t been heard from and they are feared to have been taken prisoner. John is once again commissioned to transport a team of mercenaries to the same drop point.

This is where the killing starts. Brutal massacres of small villages, decapitations, limbs chopped and blown off, women gang raped, babies thrown in fires, children stabbed and shot, men tore to pieces by 50 cals, arrows through faces, throats torn out, soldiers gutted… it just goes on. Rambo delivers the goriest carnage any film has offered to-date. Sly Stallone is John Rambo. And without a doubt, he serves up a big, fat ass plate of justice in his fourth and final installment to the Rambo saga. The damn thing should’ve been rated RR... the deuces! Go check Rambo out at your local theater for some serious warefare and ass kickage…

MacBook Air

Well it's been awhile since the last post... so this one's definitely overdue... but to pick up where we left off, MacWorld did not deliver as we'd hoped. The kids at Apple did offer up some nice goodies, but nothing as exciting as we anticipated.

The new machine Apple did drop at this year's MacWorld Conference was the new MacBook Air. Claiming the title of "World's Thinnest Laptop" it measures at it's thinnest point, 0.16 inches and at it's very thickest, a mere 0.76 inches. It's really hard to beat less than an inch all the way around! So kudos to the Cupertino Crew.

Even sicker is the fact that you can get it with a solid state hard drive... 64GB. Still, that's pretty nice, especially when you pair it with Apple's new Time Capsule. Wirelessy save files to your two-in-one wireless router and external hard drive... keeps the Air light as feather. Suck it.

iTablet: To be... Or not to be?

So what's the deal? Are we gonna see this thing or not? Everyone... or maybe just me... is hoping to see this new product at MacWorld about a week from now. It's basically a big ass iphone but better. This is the word... it's got intel inside, so it's way faster and runs on its own variation of the new Leopard OS X. Here's the thing though... it's not a full-fledged computer, it's more like a larger iPod Touch that can connect to your home Mac or PC via the internet. Using Apple's remote desktop client, you'll be able to screen-share with your home computer. This way you can use all of your software apps running at home, as well as save the bulk of your content to the home machine, freeing up the iTablet's flash memory.

But wait, it gets better. The iTablet of course uses the new Multi-Touch 2.0 technology from the iPhone and iPod Touch as its main method of input. So users will surf the web much like they have become accustomed to doing with apple's other devices, however a few new features will debut on the iTablet, like cut and paste. Word on the street is that the tablet will accept various forms of input, including Multi-Touch, mouse, keyboard and possibly a stylus. Another incredible feature said to be included with the revolutionary product is video conferencing. Using the iTablet's built in iSight camera (mounted on the front of the device, just above the display) consumers will be able to communicate with one another via video. I personally can't wait til the iPhone gets a front-mount camera... can you say, "The Future".

It's not a wrap yet, there's more! Looprumors is saying that the iTablet will also come with a mini DVD drive. It goes along with one of Apple's other recent patents for an adapter that fits around the outside of the mini DVD, enabling it to work with standard DVD drives. The iTablet will also employ bluetooth and therefore will be able to beam files wirelessly to other iTablets and computers.

It goes without saying that the iTablet will have the ability to play all your favorite music, movies, tv shows and any other media you regularly enjoy. We'll have to wait for the Stevenote* at MacWorld to find out if the iTablet is just a fantasy product, or if Jobs and the Apple crew are ushering in the new generation of portable computing. All I can say is, if it's real... I'm gettin' one!

WOW. This video is the creme de le creme of skate videos. The first video released under Lakai Footwear and i am already hoping not the last. A stacked team including riders such as Eric Koston, Cairo Foster, Rick Howard, Marc Johnson, and many more. The intro to the video is sick, the "exploding skate scenes" are just rawberry to say the least. Great filming and editting done there. The first part of the video features Mike Mo Capaldi, of whom i ahve not seen or heard a lot of until this video and let me tell you, i have nothing but good things to say about this guy. Board control is absolutely no issue here, from inward heels and tre flips into and out of manuals and grinds, this dude does it all. Not to mention the sickest flip trick I may have ever seen, the nollie late flip, and not only that but flipping the board with his front foot! C R A Z Y! It has to be seen.

Anyways i give this video a 9.5 out of 10... Some parts were a little slower to get into than others, but all in all this video was excellent.

Aight Aight! We're up and running now... ready for the 100 yard dash sons! But for real, this has been a long time comin'... i wanna give first recognition to The KillJoy Syndicate... that's Dean and Dom for those of you unacquainted. Nice to meet you too.

Basically we wanted a forum to share our thoughts on everything from dope style, music, art, movies, news and current events and anything else we have an opinion on. We'll be posting pics, reviews & opinions on the latest in "Streetwear Fashion/Culture" (whatever that happens to be at that point in time) for sure. Rep our favorite brands like 10 Deep, The Hundreds, LRG, MISHKA, Supreme, Stussy and so many more we don't have time to go through 'em. Definitely gonna be droppin' the 411 on the shoe game, so check back for the most up-to-date info and words on the newest kicks. We'll be reviewing the lastest musical incarnations of today's most hottestest MCs and bands and givin' you our untattered thoughts on what's goin' down on the silver screen.
